The Inspiron 1525 is the latest laptop in this lineup. The LCD panel on the 1525 is good, and offers decent levels of contrast, color, and brightness levels. The resolution on offer here is 1280 x 800 with the standard panel. Dell offers a Tru-Life option on this panel, which increases the resolution to a respectable 1440 x 900 and offers far better levels of brightness, color and contrast.
